Located on the 4th floor of a very chic apartment building, this holiday home is decorated in a strikingly modern style featuring a cool grey décor with contemporary comfortable furnishings and wooden flooring throughout. Huge windows allow lots of natural light to flood through the apartment but there is no need to worry about being too hot as the air conditioning is sure to keep you at your ideal temperature day and night. You can of course choose to step out on to the glorious balcony and feel the warm Barcelonan sun on your skin. Why not enjoy a bite to eat out here too?
Prepare anything you like from a locally appropriate paella to a full English breakfast in the excellent fully fitted kitchen. A dining table and chairs is also provided here allowing you to enjoy mealtimes in comfort. The same calming grey decor continues through into the bedrooms.
In the main living area you can make yourself comfortable on the large sofa and chairs and enjoy watching the flat screen TV provided when the city has worn you out. The sofa also converts into a bed for two with ease at night time if necessary. There are two singles in two of the rooms whilst in the master bedroom there is a large four-poster style bed. The balcony is also accessible from this room. The apartment also features 2 private bathrooms fitted with a combined shower and bath as well as a sink and toilet.
This outstanding holiday home makes the perfect alternative to renting dull traditional hotel rooms in the city and is of course so much more fun.
You will find the Paseo de Gracia Deluxe C within the popular, clean and safe district known as Eixample. It’s certainly easy to spot on the map by its geometric grid like street layout, so different to the rest of the city. The apartment is merely a few metres away from the famously up market shopping street Passeig de Gracia . There are plenty of designer stores to explore as well as some excellent food establishments. The Bulevard Rosa shopping centre near by will certainly keep shopaholics in your party occupied for a few hours.
Eixample is famous for its modern architecture and no designer has made an impact on the area or the city as much as Antoni Gaudi. Hop on the metro at nearby Passeig de Gracia station and take a look at the most iconic building in the city, La Sagrada Familia. This gigantic mound of melting rock is equally revered and hated by locals and visitors to the city. Make your own mind up and enjoy a light hearted discussion on the aesthetics of design with the many thousands of people who visit daily to gawp at this landmark.
Just minutes away are the beautifully romantic Gothic Quarter with its narrow winding medieval streets and secret courtyards. Wander around at your leisure as the area is mainly free of general traffic. You are sure to get lost here but then that’s all part of the city’s charm.
